About Polka Dots & Pints.

Launched in 2014 as a place to document my love of beer and fashion, Polka Dots & Pints has quickly grown into a lifestyle blog with a following of craft beer drinkers, thrifty fashionistas, and adventure lovers from all around the world.

If you love quality beer, thrift stores, and exploring the place you dwell, you’ll feel right at home here. Posts include beer reviews, style posts, community events, travel adventures, and musings from my life.

I am a member-owner of High Five, a Co-op brewery, and I am a Certified Beer Server through Cicerone. Let’s connect! To know what I’m currently drinking, follow me on Untappd – and to see what other shenanigans I’m up to, check out Polka Dots & Pints on Instagram.

About Me, Amy.

Lady of the Mitten State, currently living among Hoosiers.

My passion for craft beer started when I interned for a small brewery doing graphic design for tap handles, but it really took off when I became a server at Perrin Brewing Company in Grand Rapids, MI. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Calvin College, where I double majored in film studies and media production. I married the love of my life in a restored art deco movie theater in 2013, and have been enjoying the adventure of marriage ever since. We currently live in Indianapolis, IN where we enjoy watching oodles of movies, cooking yummy vegetarian food, and working to support and educate the youth of our city.
